Zinnia watercolor

John cut me the last bouquet of zinnias for the year.
I'm calling the zinnia watercolor done, even though I'm not totally pleased with it. I do like it better than most of my attempts.

Riki is getting a little gray around his face, he is still so beautiful!

Pool Closed. Zinnias gone. Paint packed. Pots emptied bulbs stored in paper bags. Endless chores every day.

It is not an easy task moving across the country but believe me it will be worth it!

I think I will share our projects on the pink house. Most of it is lovely but John has some ideas to make it even better.

Fellow artist

I had the most touching encounter with a fellow artist in Bath, ME today.

My husband and I are in Maine buying a house this week.  With all the travel and activity I have had little time for art.

We were at the waterfront and he was water coloring! I was so excited that I chatted him up for I thought was too long.  Lamenting about my "art" withdrawal.  As I was saying goodbye he told us to follow him! He opened his hatch and pulled out a koi set and a huge block of Arches paper and insisted it was a gift!!  I cried a little after we had left him with many thank yous!

I have to say just working for a few hours this evening set me right!  I intend on paying it forward.  Thanks again Daniel!
