Here it is unbagged. Happy with this lot can see lots of projects in here.

Junking trip

Had a great junking trip to my local flea market. I showed up at 4:30pm. They were closing at five but they didn't kick me out cause they were busy! Got all this for $37.00. What a deal. Six bags of jewelry for $15!

Life chewed her up and spit her out...

Click for detail. Some you can click twice for nice close ups.
I really didn't know this girls story when I found her. After not enough sleep I got up to put the finishing touches on this portal into her life. I picked up a small piece of paper from my workspace and it had the word meth printed over and over and over. Now it all makes sense.

I'm sure every one's life has been touched by this nasty drug in some way or another. It is never pretty.

portal

Worked on my portal until 3am last night. Hopefully the long dry art spell is over. I really think I just organised a little too much. Too neat in here to do real art. I am enjoying my green drawers. They hold so much and easy to access. Just need to get into a project to know what to pull out. I still want to add some text to this project. Poor lady is reminding me of Amsterdam with her leaning out the window.

Poor Buster

Buster is thirteen years old but endures many wardrobe changes while Logan visits. This is his Old Navy Hoodie and his Harley hat. And Logan giving me the fisheye for taking his picture while he took a picture.

Life chewed her up and spit her out...

I've been watching Gary Reef videos. He is so inspiring and has taught me some great techniques. She is not done yet but I like where this is going. Ha.

Pansy

Love this pansy such beautiful colors!

Inktense Color Chart

Breaking in my new journals. Made this color chart with my inktense pencils. Love a couple of the purples. Completely forgot I had started the bird in my watercolor moleskine. I had oral surgery this week and I'm a wreck. No art and a lot of stress. I feel better after just a short art session. Wish I could stay up all night and play. But. My mouth hurts and it is midnight so will get back to it tomorrow.

Oh! I have spent a fortune on the water color pencils in the last few months and use them daily. Love them. WELL. I finally broke down and bought the brush that holds water. I think it is a Tim Holtz product. Works great with them and so much easier than cleaning and dipping. It seems to add just the correct amount of water without diluting the color. Wish I would have gone a head and spent the four dollars for the little brush. Ha. Live and learn.

Moleskine Cover

I had fun decorating the cover of my new Moleskine. I'm having a hard time breaking it in. Brand new blank canvas. Gets me every time.

I guess I needed a little retail therapy. Hope these new goodies will get me back to making art everyday.

I broke in my new watercolor moleskine this morning. Didn't start on the first page as it was too intimidating. I can see in my photo that the flowers are much more blue.

new moleskines!

Okay, I guess I am hooked on moleskines. Really love the journal I made but will save it for the garden journal. Need to have my healing art journal too. AND I just had to try the watercolor even though it was a little damaged. The cover gets pretty beat up over the course of its life anyway. I'm so excited.
My husbands job is going away. So, looks like we might be relocating yet again. These journals will help me cope. Don't get me wrong. I'm a gypsy at heart and am eager for a new adventure. Just wish I could bring my grandson with. :)
