This isn't quite finished but really like him so far. Wondering what color to paint the dots.

bp clown

These photos are going to be my next two paintings. Been too long since I put something on canvas. I think this guy is that fucking bp clown.

Junking

These are my latest goodies from junking the past few weeks. LOVE the scale. Have been watching the price and it did not go down. Made a special trip finally because I could not quit thinking about it. It will make a perfect hanger for my art and I will get use out of all that chain. So glad I went because the guy went down 7 bucks and told me he was moving out the next Monday. That is a golden rule in junking. Don't pass it up if you love it cause it won't be there again. Still paid more than I wanted but had to count the crystals in the final price. 18 bucks. The last one I got was free...

More Bling

My sweet Mother in Law Lola brought me some more rosaries so I could finish my bottle. I used my stash of antique pearls, rhinestones, and crystals to restring the rosaries into something even more beautiful. This altar is 40" tall. Really love it now that I added MORE!

Night swim

Celebrated the full moon with a night swim. Haaaaoooooooooooowwwlll!!

The unquiet Mind

This page has lots of layers but I covered most of them completely. I don't think that is the idea. Ha. Anyway, I have a lot on my mind.

Steamboat Arabia

Sometimes a page is never done. The glossy handout they gave at the museum worked so well using the packing tape transfer method that I had to do more.

pool fun

I did this background using the saran wrap and water color crayon technique I learned from watching Paula's videos. It looked so much like the pool I just had to add the photos of Logan. And, I love painting bubbles! So fun that I can't stop. Ha.

My tarot

My friend Susan from New Orleans came to town this weekend. We had fun going to the Arabia River Boat Museum and the City Market. Shopping, swimming and good food. She asked me to read her cards before she left. Well, she has a lot to look forward to. Her cards were ALL good! Logan was a good sport and slept on the couch.

I decided to scan and post the deck again. Love them so much and don't look at them enough. I'm a lazy gypsy so I decided to make my own deck with the meanings right on the card. I also never learned to read with the whole deck so this is just the major arcana. They tell me all I need to know.

To become

I really enjoyed the layers of this page. I've been watching Paula's videos and am so inspired! I really loved her latest blue page and can't wait to try the masking. Scarab.
