Garden tour

Did a little junking and stopped by Hobby Lobby after watching Paula Phillips all morning. That girl can SELL and she doesn't even get anything for it. We should change that. She would be a great spoke person for ALL the new products. She is so inspiring and great at showing the little tricks of each product. If anyone is out there please make that happen. I like her more than Carol Duvall and I love Carol.
Buster and I took a little garden tour this morning.

journal pages

Practiced Paula's lettering technique on the Pansy page. Fun. Wish I knew how to do that A LONG TIME AGO. Top page is not done but really like it so far. Trying to journal myself a little peace of mind.

Jackson altered bottle

Had fun hiding clues while altering this bottle. The labels are matchbooks. The little face didn't show enough for me in the eyeglass piece so I glued another image behind it. Love that stamp.

crystal reflection

I caught this magical reflection on a spent pansy petal this morning. The sun was shining through a crystal and made this awesome color combination. Love.

altered bottles

I decided to leave the crown off the crystal on the dogwood bottle. I will use it on another project for sure. I found a box of old stationary at a sale not long ago. I used the almost tissue like piece to print the little girl on. Love how it melted into the glass using matt medium. Years ago I made candle holders with real pressed flowers so the dogwood was the perfect choice, Missouri's state flower.

altered bottles

Had so much fun the last two days working with my original art to alter these bottles. Cora is my Great Grandmother and the little girl is me.
