I am having fun working in my new journal. Been practicing layers with Paula Phillips. I keep making the mistake of completely covering some layers. Don't think that is the idea.
Now, the quilling is another story. I spent all morning on the snowflake upper right in the picture. As you can see it didn't work out as I planned. I was so sure I could make it better. Ha. The first one doesn't look too bad to me at this point.

MMy citrasolve paper. I got some good text with ink but I think I would do better with another year of National Geo. These are from the 60's. I have read that the 70 and 80's work the best.
