Lily painting

Added some light and dark with gesso.

Then another wash of yellow.  Then magenta.

This is getting there.  Will look at it again tomorrow.

HATED the orange.  Starting over...

Okay.  I did an undercoat of purple then magenta.  Then I gessoed the whole thing.  Again.  Maybe I ought to take a painting lesson.  I do like the purple undertones.

  Still wet.  I will probably hate it in the morning.  Yes I hated it.  Off to Michael's today.  Maybe I will find the perfect color for my lily...

Last picture is what I'm calling done.  For now.
