fall gelli printing

Sorted and filed my gelli prints by color, I have just a few.  And check out all that paper and card stock waiting for color!

Fall's last blast of color inspired an entire day of gelli printing with the last few leaves from the yard.  The weather was so perfect 60 degrees, windy, too dry.  Roses blooming, lavender confused along with the california poppies, sprouting new growth.

Had so much fun and then spent the evening using my favorite print for a page in my 1924 yearbook journal.  I obviously didn't plan the page, it was more about purging some bad feeling with all the text.  Art heals.
