I would consider Austria "big sky" country. The view from the hotel room of the mountains, forest and lake was really great. The big window opened so we were standing there watching a storm roll in and I took notice of the little birds, I commented that they were warning each other of the bad weather but then two majestic golden eagles flew, in tandem, right by our window. Wow! They were huge and I could compare them to the size of my husband, (which was much larger than the average size Austrian male). I will find that picture and update the blog.
