Venetian Pool Acrylic with palette knife 36x36

Finished the pool painting today! So excited and have it done and need to decide where to hang it so I can get the huge canvas out of my studio. I checked back on my blog and it looks like I started this painting the middle of December 2015. I had to take a long break because of a pain in the neck, my buddy Dave loaned me an easel, so got it finished today. Maybe I can sleep now.

I can definitely get to my ice dye t shirt and do some more mixed media techniques on it.

I like how it turned out but will play around in photo shop with some text with flamingos and plumeria. Turn it into a postcard. Venetian Pool, Coral Gables, Fl

Did I mention that I found lots of money in that pool. It was almost empty the day we visited and I swam into the cave and was surprised to find 20's and other bills floating in the water.  Very excited but was sure the owner would be lurking near by as I emerged, nope. I kept it, pirate's booty.

They had a concert in the bottom of the pool the other day. I wish I could have been there. It is a magical place, a pool lover's dream come true. I wish I would have gotten married there...
