Miss Lucy and bad flea control

Miss Lucy gave us a big scare this week, she had to go in for grooming and when we got there she started bleeding! We both panicked and the vet did about $400 bucks worth of tests. Yikes, so worried and then I remembered that we had started a new flea treatment just five days ago. FRONTLINE GOLD, that shit is going in the trash. The vet said it was a 1 in 20,000 side effect but actually make that 2 in 20,000 because I said something to John about Riki's urine looking dark the other DAY!

If anyone has had a similar experience I really would like to hear about it and what you use for flea control. Thanks ladies.

She is feeling better today but really tired and on antibiotics for the next two weeks. Riki is not much better because he went in today and had his teeth cleaned, one removed and then his grooming! Poor babies should be all set for summer.

Miss Queenie likes my chair, she is like Princess and the Pea. I bought outdoor cushions last week and piled them in the living room before taking them outside. She climbed that pile and claimed them as hers.
She does have great taste in men because she passed up about 50 guys and laid right on my husbands boot that day. He has loved her from that moment on.
Here she is just one short year ago, no telling how long she had been living under the bridge on the Kaw River in KC KS. Poor baby was gray and had huge mouse sized mattes in her hair.

We hope she gets to enjoy all the beds in the house for a very long time. Love her so much!
