Flannel pant cuff lesson

This post is for my own information. I have made, I don't know how many pairs of these flannel pants but still had to deconstruct an old pair yet again to figure out the cuff.
Turn under 1/4" with wrong sides together and iron. 
Then turn again two inches with wrong sides together and iron.
 Top stitch at top of hem.
Fold hem back 1 1/2" with right sides together which forms the cuff and iron.
Top stitch top and bottom edges.

Looks simple enough, right? Duh.
