Buckeye Butterfly

I've officially given up on watercolor...I'm not a quitter but I just wasn't getting any better.

I'm excited because now I can do art again. It was ruining my art time because I just wasn't happy with most attempts.

Pulled out  my water soluble oil paints and had a great time painting this little buck eye! I love how it turned out!

Low odor and easy clean up. And best of all, doesn't look like a ten year old painted it.

I took this picture the day we moved into our old house in MO. Chased this little butterfly all over the road. I'm sure the neighbors thought I was crazy...
