Little Miss Sunshine

I put all my doll stuff away but then little Miss Sunshine insisted that I make her. She isn't done but she is very musical. John helped me make the custom bezel from that thingy-a-bob I found at the last sale and a tin my cousin gave me. I'm going to spray some vinegar on the chimes to see if I can take that shine right out of her. She got the on/off switch because John said "Maxine didn't need one".

I had fun making these chimes of various odds and ends.  The bell on the bottom is cool.  My x mother in law had one.  It is a rotary phone dialer!

I added more chain to the chimes today.  John hung them along with some bells I picked up in Sparks this spring.

Bells

I got the bells on the left for fifty cents at Sparks.  What a deal!  The one on the right I combined a big bell I got at the freight store with a snowman Christmas ornament.  Just removed the snowman and wired the bells together.  They both already had the rope which made for a perfect fit.

John helped me hang some chimes today. Not done but I think it is a good start.
