garden 2018
Everyone was glad to get outside this weekend. I guess we are going straight to summer as it was over 80 degrees today.
The bleeding heart is blooming late but really beautiful.
Mexican heather is so hardy it can handle hot dry summers.
Decided to go with french lavender this year. Love the leaves!
So excited to find the curly croton! I had this in my yard in Florida back in the early 90's. First time I have found it and hope to keep it alive. This pot is too big so will find something shorter. Tucked some moss rose in the succulent waterfall.
Can you see the purple carpet on the dirt under the redbud?

Spring 2018
The redbud is so beautiful this year, I love the color and the shape.
Everything is late this year and some of the lilac blooms are damaged from the frigid weather. It snowed here three sundays in a row in April, I can't remember it ever snowing in April.

The Jane magnolia is really pretty too, not as abundant as usual but John had to cut her back last summer.
