hankie valance

The camera never lies.  I didn't like the way it looked so I did a little tweaking.  I always say, "put that picture on the internet and you will immediately see what you did wrong". 

Hankie Curtain

I spent the last week washing and rehanging my hankie valance.  I had collected a few more hankies and clip on earrings since I did this the last time.  Love all the colors with the quilts.  Sick of pinning and climbing the ladder.  I think I have it now.  

Finally found the bed.  I think the valance looks good with the quilts.  Really need to paint this room purple and make some art for the walls.

 I used vintage earrings and fastened these hankies to my shears.  Love it!  Had to do forty two loads of laundry before I could get to this project.  I wanted to wash the curtains first.  Going to keep my eye out for both to add to this valance.  For a no sew project this is really cute.
