Working my way down in the background.  I really wish I had more stamps.  If I don't like it when finished I do have a person I can call for more stamps.

I just ordered these drapes for the living and dining room from Overstock.com.  Sure hope they are the right blue.  I have never ordered anything from them and hoping they are nice so I don't have to jack with returning them.

Hit some antique stores for stamps yesterday.  I think I have enough but nervous that my choices are limited.  This has been a fun project!

I'm so excited that me, Riki and the Ganesha didn't get blown away this afternoon.  The storms have been training through the area for the last few days and I've been pretty nervous.  

Worked another row on the base and I think I'm ready for background.  That should be really easy as long as I don't run out of stamps.  I do have a line on those if needed.  

Steel pipe shelves

Here are some shots of my new studio with the tanker desk.  The pipe shelves turned out so cool.  He is going to add a drop down above the tansu once I figure out what I am going to put there.  It is so custom that I can't even believe how well it works.  I had the pleasure of working on the Ganesha in here the last couple of nights.  Still haven't finished filling my desk.  Don't want to waste that precious real estate so it will be the last thing.

I went to Amazon and found some maple drawers that would look really nice with the pipe desk because I hate plastic.  Except this plastic works really well for me.  They are the desk top variety so the drawers are not as deep as the crappy shit they sell us for storage in the craft department.  I'm going to think about it because sometimes if something is working you really shouldn't think about changing it.

Nothing matched like I wanted it to.  The desk doesn't match the raskog and that doesn't match my green drawers in the other room.  Oh well, my husband said if I want to paint it in the future if they all end up in the same room then I will think about it.  I will get new curtains for in here.  I will move all the silk to the next room.

Steel Tanker desk

My buddy Dave delivered my desk last week then my sweet husband cleaned it up and painted the kitchen.  He is also building pipe shelves for me.  I love it so far even though he wasn't so sweet today.  It'll be done tomorrow and I can put my fruit crates in and get back to the Ganesha.  I've only filled one drawer but thinking "tanker gelli station"...
