I've been feeling cramped in my small studio so splurged on acrylic storage! These are marketed to organize makeup therefore perfect in the studio. I'm probably the last to figure it out.  Not cheap but I'm really happy with it. Love having everything so close and all the color!

Really can't wait to move so I can have all my supplies around me. And my art...the clowns are in the other room. So are my girls. I really am inspired by ALL those things and feel so frustrated not to have it around me.

I've envisioned the perfect house and studio and now that everything is organized I can just pack the Subaru and transfer it to the new space. I know you are supposed to downsize when organizing but I only threw away a couple of old pastel sticks. Ha. I need all this stuff and I want to be able to see it. Now that I have all my pencils in sight I can see that I no longer need to buy those!

Okay I'm a craft hoarder. So what. I buy cheap and don't just follow every trend. Abundance makes me happy.

heating pad cover

I spent five hours making this simple  cover for my new jumbo heating pad. That doesn't seem like a lot of time for something so pretty with pin tucks and chicken scratch embroidery, except that work was done months ago. All I had to do was refashion it into an envelope and that took me five hours. I have another to make but for now I'm going to take this one to bed and lay on it because my back is killing me!

My brain doesn't work correctly when trying to sew, doesn't stop me but it isn't really fun until I finally get something close to my original idea. Even if it takes me hours to do a simple pillow case with a flap for god's sake I do feel like I made something today.

Acrylic drawers

After seeing a picture on pinterest I became obsessed with finding the right drawers to store and display (so I will use) all my pens and markers. Aren't they beautiful! I won't mention the fail, I bought some that didn't work and then found these. 

I used one of the messed up size to store my Neocolor II and oil pastels.

Just wasn't quite the look I was going for and my OCD hates it!

My husband knew before I did that they weren't going to work so encouraged me to order the right ones and he made me a deal I couldn't refuse. He paid for the new ones and took the other to the garage for his electrical supplies! So spoiled and I know it...

Gouache

I ended up using  gouache on this because I am no good at watercolor. It turned out okay but really need to practice. I found it on my watercolor pad, I had started it in 2017.

Cargo Largo craft haul

Oh my gosh I got such great deals at Cargo Largo today on some awesome art supplies. Just can't pass up a bargain.

Love being able to go on line and seeing exactly how much I saved! Retail $225 spent $77 saved $145!! YES!

The center of this flower is as thick as a nickel. I have tendinitis in my right hand so bad I had to switch my mouse hand, good thing I am ambidextrous. I'm going to have to put the coat down for a while so my hands can heal.
