Cargo Largo craft haul

Oh my gosh I got such great deals at Cargo Largo today on some awesome art supplies. Just can't pass up a bargain.

Love being able to go on line and seeing exactly how much I saved! Retail $225 spent $77 saved $145!! YES!

The center of this flower is as thick as a nickel. I have tendinitis in my right hand so bad I had to switch my mouse hand, good thing I am ambidextrous. I'm going to have to put the coat down for a while so my hands can heal. 

HAUL OF THE CENTURY!

I have been holed up in the house for most of February. Talked my husband into taking me to Menards for some $9.00 bamboo shoe racks. Also picked up a GALLON of Floetrol! 

The Cargo Largo is in that area and I told him that I wanted to go check the craft isle. Sometimes you go and they have nothing, but sometimes you go and they have a shit load of stuff! I'm so excited! 

Before I left the house I checked my one flat circle punch hoping to find another and didn't want two the same size. It is such a random item and I could not believe my eyes when I found both a 1" and then a 2" for 4 and 5 dollars! What?! I checked retail when I got home and saved quite a few dollars right there. Went through my entire receipt of goodies and the results were $80.00 paid....$212.00 retail that would be $132.00 saved, right?! I LOVE a bargain! Best shopping ever for me. I can't have as much fun if I don't get a deal. And, I bought some stuff that I never buy because of they are too expensive, like those spectrum noir alcohol markers. Retail $50.00 paid$17.00.

Deli paper haul

I some how made these cards before I got the holder.  Meant to be, it is made of metal.  So cool old fashion receipt holder only $6.95.

Check the out that box of deli paper in the bottom picture! I buy a lot of art supplies at estate sales so when I got the email yesterday and spied that huge box of deli paper  I for sure was going! I really don't know why I thought I needed it since I don't have the large gelli plate but even though I'm a shut in I made the journey and was almost first in line. Two bucks!

I have a brand new cell phone that I don't know how to use, it rang while I was in the sale so I was checking it while heading to my car. I tripped and fell on an uneven drive way. Ouch!  Landed on one hand and knee, lucky just some road rash, I picked myself up and went on to Tuesday Morning even though I was bleeding. Found the other goodies and spent less than twenty dollars! 

I already hung the receipt holder and displayed some trading cards I've been working on.  Didn't want to pay fifteen bucks for a new roller from amazon the other day so am excited to find the refill for cheap!  I love a good bargain.  Makes shopping so much fun.

Haul

My husband needed to go into the next town over today so had him drop me off at the greatest scrap book store ever!  Scrapbook-N-Memories  She always has what I want and more! First trip I bought the stablio pencils, I've been wanting to try the white and replace my black. Love them. Also wanted to try the white marker, needed the glue and ink pad. We drove almost all the way home and I had talked about the dylusions journals the entire way. He said we should go back, so I said hell yeah! I bought them both because I could not decide which one I wanted. Excited to try the new size and work in the square this year.  

We found a place for a burger, "The Garage", a converted gas station. It was great but I'm glad to be home with my new goodies.

New gelli plates!

 We finally got some much needed rain here last night.  The grass really greened up and check out those bleeding hearts behind Riki.  I was trying to get a shot of him with the Easter basket but couldn't catch him.

Went to the post office and picked up my new gelli plates today!  So excited.  I really want a round one also but they didn't have them available at Amazon yet.  I ordered the Japanese Signo Gel pens, it will be interesting to see if they are better.

Scrapbook haul

I had so much fun at this sale yesterday.  I bought all of this stuff for 27 dollars.  The case of brass charms was only 5 bucks.  Any price you see I actually paid 1/2 of that.  Best sale so far this year!  I paid only one dollar for ALL the cats eye and round ink pads.  NEVER been opened.  Can't wait to play.
