Miss McKinzie

I painted this for my friend Judy.  Her little dog passed a way last week and I wanted her to know I was thinking of her.  This is a little 4x4 inch canvas.  I think it is cute and just hope it reminds her of McKinzie and maybe brings her some comfort.

Silk curtain

Okay, this is the way he suggested from the beginning and it looks the best.  Love my window jewelry!

Silk

This is closer but still not quite right.  Husband is a little fatigued.
Now I'm going to try it just with the chain.  Taking it off the hanger.

Window bells

After looking at it I took the neck piece off.  I like it better without.

Belly dancer window

I might have to dye the neck piece to match the silk behind it.

Love my window.  The silk moves all day because of the ceiling fan.  Gives the illusion of cool even though we are having record heart here in Kansas City.  110 degrees today.  Ugh.

Belly dancer belt

I was so excited to find these tiny cloths pens on the Walmart clearance aisle.  I never dreamed that they would actually be functional.

Still working on this belly dancer belt.  Love it so far.  I get excited to see all the little items I collect come together to make a one of a kind art piece.  My obsession with bells is continuing.

I added more chain to the chimes today.  John hung them along with some bells I picked up in Sparks this spring.

Coffee jar

The lure of this coffee jar got us out in the 105 heat today.  Ugh.  I paid too much, 15 bucks but it was hot and I have wanted one forever.  Went by the freight store and found all those clips for 3 bucks!  What a deal.  Actually the money I saved there made up for the jar.  Glad to be back home in the air.
