Riki's new hoodie

They have been playing that movie "unfaithful" over and over on cable.  I love how my snow globe turned out.  I painted it using distress stains then used molding paste and smashed mica into it.

Riki got a new hoodie.  Poor baby got matted while I wasn't looking.  Had to give him a major haircut right before a cold snap.  This was Buster's hoodie but he was too fat for it.

gelli print cards

I ran a little too late to send Christmas cards but I made a few namaste cards today.  To tell the truth I tried several times to make cards in the last couple of weeks.  While talking to my Aunt Pauline, I admitted to her that the card just wouldn't come but that I had been thinking of her.  She suggested that I send just a card.  Not for anything.  That made it so easy.  I pulled some of my favorite gelli prints and my new wood block stamp and made some "namaste" cards.  I love them and they came so easy.

Patti Tolley Parrish

I'm not sure how I got so lucky, but I won this great gelli print journal from Patti Tolley Parrish!  Isn't it beautiful?  I love every page and feel honored to have a signed journal from one of my favorite artists and she has a great personality, that girl has it all.  Thanks so much Patti!

1924 yearbook

Felt so good to journal again.  All healed from my surgery and back to art.  Riki's been hanging out with me under my crystals.  Happy Holidays everyone!

bali blinds

I received some wonderful samples from Bali Blinds today.  I love them so much but the price per window is really incredible.

I have an idea of combining the blind with a shutter to remind me of my Grandpa's cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks.  My husband is willing to build them and I am now a quest for an affordable alternative for the matchstick.

Early Christmas present!

Check out my new goodies!  We stopped at my local scrapbook store and she always carries the coolest, latest thing!  Courtney recommended keeping one for craft paint and one for adhesive.  They have them in different sizes so check that before you buy.  She caught my mistake before I left the store.  I've been looking at the block prints online and never imagined being able to find them local!  Woo hoo!
