Altered bottles

I'm starting to put my art around the house.  The studio is full.

I got all of these at the thrift store for 1.50. What a deal. Looks like some more altered bottles in my future.

I'm not sure why I have to drag out everything before I can get inspired to do a couple of bottles. Actually this project started out what to do with my pretty jingle bells.

I decided to leave the crown off the crystal on the dogwood bottle. I will use it on another project for sure. I found a box of old stationary at a sale not long ago. I used the almost tissue like piece to print the little girl on. Love how it melted into the glass using matt medium. Years ago I made candle holders with real pressed flowers so the dogwood was the perfect choice, Missouri's state flower.

Had so much fun the last two days working with my original art to alter these bottles. Cora is my Great Grandmother and the little girl is me.
