water color zinnia

Working my way across, I think it is okay.

So excited that our move is in the works! We had a couple realtors  this week and heard from the relo team! They have an amazing move package for us and we are SO lucky!

It is stressful but this is our third time relocating with the company and know what to expect.

Have my fingers crossed for good appraisals and this full buck moon is doing it's STUFF! YeA HA!!!!

water color zinnia

Had some great art buddies tonight. They are distressed because of the fireworks and on top of all that Riki is covered in hot spots! Poor baby.

Trying to lift some of the orange with salt from the top left flower. It is just too bright and want to add pink. I may use a little gouache to fix it in the end.

I start to like a painting then I compare it to other water colors on line and I realize I'm still really bad. I do see progress each time.

water color zinnia

Turns out staying mindful is the way to go with water color. No spacing out and just painting willy nilly. One petal a time. I'm loving the faded pink in the middle!
