OMG! I'm so excited. I found this cool National Geographic camera bag at my favorite freight store! Paid forty. Priced at from eighty to sixty online. So, not that great of a deal but LOVE it. Always hated my old bulky black bag. AND, it matches my purse. Ahhh. Great shopping day.

hand dyed fabric

I love the way this is turning out. First I cut out the caftan. Then I hand dyed the unbleached muslin using the Rit Dye Microwave instructions. Easy! Love the marbling effect without jacking with resist or worse yet wax. I then rubber stamped some crackle effect and pounded fresh pansy's onto the hem. Not sure if I'm done with my altered fabric. Tomorrow I may do some hand embroidery. Anxious to sew this up and wear it to the pool!
