I started this painting a year ago while we were here to buy the place. So sick of looking at this I'm calling it done.

copper planter

 I had a great idea one sleepless night to use my copper fire pot as a giant planter! Filled the bottom with glass beads to help with the humidity this winter. Tried to plan which plants ahead of time but as usual I ended up choosing the ones that caught my eye.

I saved the first visit to my local greenhouse as a reward for unpacking the last box. Well, that was months ago and due to covid it was delayed. Delayed satisfaction is always the best! Can't wait to go back to look around when things are safer. We wore masks, as did others but people kept crowding around US! It was a huge place and plenty to look at 6 foot away.

Miss Lucy loves the new glass. I ordered a third mandala but they kept sending me the wrong item. They sent me a giant flock of birds! Then a giant mandala that was really ugly. Gave up on that and will look around. I want to hang one more in the downstairs bath. Lucky I waited to return the birds until I got the second mess up. Dang. Hard to be too mad because I love the pieces that did arrive. Really like the other but oh well.

Pemaquid Lighthouse

THIS place is so beautiful and relaxing. I've been trying to get here for a few weeks and we finally found the spot! Crashing waves and sail boats. Only an hour from the house. Very few people and most were locals.
