Birthday haul

I'm so confused about trying to organize my pictures that I let a few hauls go by without posting! I found these pictures in the middle of everything so thought I would share. Really enjoying the archival inks in all the colors so bought a few of the Tim Holtz blenders. Then I found that bag of the gazillion flag stamps I had stashed and made one for each color. It made printing with my fish so fun and easy. I'm allergic to that ink so I have been using glove in the bottle lotion a couple times a day and tools instead of my hands! Even acrylic paint bothers me. The lotion has made a big difference in my hives. That's always a good thing. Then the Tuesday morning stencil city hauls. Love them.

gelli print texture sheets

I needed matt medium, so the 50% off coupon at Michael's really helped me out.  Excited to try the gel pens for dark paper.  AND, check out all that texture for the gelli plate!  The entire pack was only 1.99 in the kids aisle!  Fun.  They had flowers shapes and stars but I figured I could cut some simple shapes if I need them.

I gave some teenagers the jewelry coupon.  I will have to say, the ad was good this week at Michael's!

art haul

We took my grandson to the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Nelson-Atkins museum, then on to Westport for a Fleamarket burger.  I was so excited to see the BEST art store I have ever been in right across the street!  Coldsnows.  I know, everyone knows about this place but me.  They had a special buy one get three free on the canvas and buy one get one free on all paint.  I picked up this great porcelain pallet full price.  What a wonderful art day for me!  I showed restraint and just picked paint for gelli printing.  They had all the Golden products buy one get one free.  Oh my.  So I spent 75 bucks and saved 130.  What a deal!  Although, it did turn out to be an expensive burger.
