All day gelli printing
I printed on my gelli plate all day long. Pure bliss. I'm never done though. I get exhausted before I have my prints exactly the way they should be. My favorite print here

gelli print collage
I am lost. I have no projects planned. I haven't done hardly any art for days and I feel so uncomfortable.
I'm in Diane Salter's art junkie group on facebook so decided to work with all those gelli prints and try to make a collage. Her collages are so wonderful that you can't even tell how the world she did it until reading her tutorials. I'm still not sure this will work with my initials but I'm going to try.
http://dianesalter.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html Go check her blog out. She is an amazing artist.

Gelli printing
Used neon folk art craft paint with scratch foam and stencils for prints pulled off the wonderful gelli plate. My first time printing with the new setup and it was really easy to find everything to make the different textures. I rolled the purple over one print and loved it so much I rolled it over every print from last night too!

Ganesha stamp collage
Now my dilemma, I also received my Raskog cart from Amazon! Not IKEA, a normal person would probably just go to IKEA and buy the cart but NO I ordered it and waited a solid week and opened the BOX and OH NO they sent the wrong color. They sent the turquoise. I know, how could that be the wrong color? That is my dilemma. I love it but I ordered the grey because it matches my current desk. But, just as I'm writing this I'm deciding to keep the turquoise because it is the perfect shade of turquoise and I love it! Off to organize my new paint cart.

magnolia journal page with gelli prints
Using a few of my latest gelli prints and matt medium I made a background in my Dylusion journal. Doodled with gel pen and added the lyrics to my favorite song of the week, Magnolia by J J Cale. Added some New Orleans elements with stencils and small gelli plate. It works so well as a stamp or a stamp pad, love it! I dabbed gesso through the Fleur de lis then added color, wiped it back then added dimension by stamping through a tiny stencil with the small gelli. So FUN!
