dragon flower

I worked on this a little bit this morning to take my mind off my afternoon appointments. Dentist and mammogram. Figured I would just get it all done on one day! Ugh. I see my color choices were affected my my anxiety. So glad my sweet husband took a day off to be my chauffeur and hold my hand.

Moleskine

Worked on this page believe it or not before I heard the news of the big solar flares this week. Gave me a perfect title.

More dragonfly

Got that GIANT bottle of clear gesso for 6.95 at my local freight store. Really excited about that find. Worked on my blue background today. I like how it turned out. That tissue I got for cheap is just perfect for collage. Melts right into the page. Used Pitt india ink pens directly on the tissue then matt medium to glue it down.

Practiced a lot of layers here that I mostly covered up. Hate when that happens. There is a lot of good stuff under there. Ha. Also practiced saying no.

moleskine

I made this fun Katz Drug Co. collage with the Sunday paper. If you are from Kansas City you will remember Katz. Really like working in the moleskine again. I like the size.

Had fun using Paula's techniques to make a circus page with the graphic45 Le Cirque paper. I love this pack so much I am going to do another mini using it.

metamorphosis

My moth is not showing up well in the photo but I love my new star gel pens. Thanks DeDe. I watched one of her streams and she talked about them. Added the perfect touch to my mini for my niece.

Clear stamp keeper

I discovered that my Hobby Lobby moved to a bigger site! It is a really nice store. I got this clear stamp binder and all the inserts for only $20 bucks. What a deal. Thought I had bought extra pages but I filled the whole thing up. Used the stamps inside to do the journal page and to decorate the outside.

My cousin sent me an awesome link to Adele so I listened to her while doing this page.
