recipe mini

Ran out of paper so this is what I have done so far. Once I apply the recipe I seal each card with matt medium. The only thing I don't like about this project is that I had to stop and cook while working on it this weekend. Ugh. Hate to cook. Maybe I will enjoy it more with my new recipe mini. I have black granite in my kitchen so this will look so great in there. Thinking of buying the album holder to have it displayed at all times.

recipe mini

I've started my recipe mini album. Using Graphic 45 Le Cirque paper pack and some dividers I bought at the scrapbook fair.

Also going to make a Halloween page in my 1925 journal and put my cards in it. That will be a great way to preserve them.

fall down

Had to do another fall color page. The tree outside my studio is in it's full glory. Wow! Brought the leaves in after I was done with the page.

Pencil Heaven

I rearranged my pencils this morning. I put the most treasured and used on the outside. Graphitints, inktense, and watercolor pencils. I have a complete set of lyra skintone that have never been used. I really enjoy the water soluble pencils and ordered some more inktense this morning. I think I have a pencil problem.

Junkin

I cleaned up in the dollar boxes at this sale. Awesome metal pieces.

ckc scrap convention

If it is 7 Gypsies I like it.

brass

I've been collecting this brass stuff. Can't wait to see what I'm going to make with it. Thinking steampunk with the clock.

Cannot tell you how good it feels to be working in my art journal again.

flower butterfly

Here is a little better shot.

Butterfly flower

I put some beeswax on my butterfly. The original flowers faded so I printed off a picture of the original flower butterfly. After looking at it I decided it needed a little wax.

Halloween treats

Had fun making these little treats for my grandson and his brother for Halloween. Used paper clay to make the skulls and my new Martha scoreboard to make Frank. I got it for $7.00. So excited about that.

coin clown

I think he is done. I might change my mind after a while. Just love painting these scary clowns! My Aunt Jean inspired my brother and I both to become artists. She gave us clown oil paintings one year for Christmas. I do have to say hers were sweet. Not scary at all.

coin clown

I think a little more work on his collar and hand and he will be ready to join his buddies. Can't wait to see them all hanging together.

coin clown

Still working. Like how it is turning out. As a self taught artist that is all I have to go on.
