1924 yearbook journal

I spent the weekend painting this kingfisher with my inktense blocks.  I can see that mine has a big head but I used artistic license.

Went back in with the fern stencil and added inktense on top of the rubbed out background.  Love that ferny jungle.

Two moleskines done and another started. My 1925 journal is finished also.

Played with my new pencils for the last page. This is an art project I found online from a 5th grade teacher. So fun!

Aunt Jemima's page

I have left a few pages as is. Guess Aunt Jemima goes all the back to 1925. The left page I did a mandala using some of my new inktense pencils. Love that felt green.

Halloween page

I mounted my last few years of Halloween cards to my 1925 journal. This will give them a place of honor and hopefully I will look at them more than once a year.

Had to do another fall color page. The tree outside my studio is in it's full glory. Wow! Brought the leaves in after I was done with the page.

Struggled for days with last post and did this in a few minutes. Love this page. I guess it is all about the colors. Not happy with my greens below.

I spent over three days trying to paint Buster and he spent all that time trying to get me to take him for a walk. What a brat....

I worked on this page all weekend. Love that you can still see the yearbook page through the markers. Used the entire sheet of my new peace stamps for the focal point. Bought those the day before Libya.
