Jean jacket refashion

It had been so long since I did the applique on the lapels I had to learn it all over again for the cuffs and collar. Thank goodness for the Internet. I used to have an auntie that knew everything but she has been gone a long time. I miss calling her, she had all the answers.

Not sure what is next on the coat but I like it so far.

I've made three empress cards, might even try again. I love the oxide inks so much even though they are totally unpredictable! These photos are from my phone. That thing takes really nice pictures and is competing with my Nikon D50. Certainly easier.

I managed to salvage The Empress from before. She is a little different than the others but I love the oxide on this card and could never repeat it.

Reflections

 John had been telling me how cool the reflection in pool is after the pump shuts off at night. So we headed out to catch some pictures. Really magical.

 

 Worked on the sunflower card as the High Priestess last night. I'm much more satisfied with how these are turning out. I think practice has something to do with it.

Blue bottle tree

Lets face it, my bottle tree is pitiful. But...found the mother lode of blue bottles at a sale today! 

 Lucy watched me fix it up.

 Found brass  3.00 ea, silk scarves 1.00 ea, tooled leather purses 5.00 ea, the blue bottles 3.00 ea but the grimy red thing was the deal of the day! Telescoping gauges we paid .25. Ha. 

 My husband knew they were worth much more than that but 125.00 Bucks! Woo Hoo!

 After waiting fucking 6 to 7 weeks for a phony ass mechanical keyboard from amazon. (My husband told me it was not real) I finally gave up and got a refund and bought this at the local best buy. It is a really good gaming keyboard, but I bought it for the clicking keys! Now I can type again. That apple keyboard was jacked up. I can not stand to wait for anything so this was driving me crazy. Supposedly it was on a slow boat from China...
