Alcohol ink live oak
I am not satisfied with my last live oak on Yupo so going to try a couple more times. I drew my stencil with hot glue using past sketches and photos of the wonderful oaks of south Mississippi.
I did this one upside down to turn off my left brain. Will work on inking them up another time, but for now check out this O.C.D. battery storage! Makes me so happy. We have a million batteries and this is GOOD!
I cannot tell you how happy these shelves make me. Ha.

I want this bench so BAD! Love the chili peppers for fall color too.

Elegant live oaks
Did another version of the same tree. I'm obsessed with this tree. Back in the day, we would walk the bulkhead down the beach past Buccaneer State Park. There were tons of live oaks, all mature, all dripping with spanish moss. I can't even describe how it feels to be in the shade of such majesty. This park was less than a mile from my house.

Elegant live oak
Really enjoying trying new things this year with my art. I've often wondered if I could get really good if I stuck with one thing. But then I do something else. And then try something totally different. And now I'm playing with yupo paper and the elegant writer thanks to my friend Paula. So fun! http://www.journalartista.com/
Also, it is fun to shop for the new ideas. Hmmm. I think it is a racket of some sort. I go to Amazon and they show me all the new gelli plate sizes. No. I lied, I have all the new sizes of the gelli plate in my shopping cart already. Can't wait to try them! Just need to hold off before I go buying even more art supplies.
