magnolia journal page with gelli prints

Using a few of my latest gelli prints and matt medium I made a background in my Dylusion journal.  Doodled with gel pen and added the lyrics to my favorite song of the week, Magnolia by J J Cale.  Added some New Orleans elements with stencils and small gelli plate.  It works so well as a stamp or a stamp pad, love it!  I dabbed gesso through the Fleur de lis then added color, wiped it back then added dimension by stamping through a tiny stencil with the small gelli.  So FUN!

I won't know if these look okay until I hang them.  Or posting on the Internet is a quick way to find out if they are horrible!

I finished this five square today.  Every time I pick up the gel pen for the fine detail Riki needs something.  I like this tonight but may hate it tomorrow.
