Alcohol Inks!

This awesomeness is my Christmas present from myself this year!! I had some alcohol ink, but now I have ALL the alcohol ink! Ha. Not, because CHA starts this week and they will have a bunch of new colors that are to die for.

I can't wait to play with this palette of inks! Tim Holtz is the man. I saw one video of him demonstrating them and I had to have the whole set up.

I've been sorting things and getting inspired for the new year. It does spark a lot of ideas to go through your stuff!

Mixed media art journal

First thing I did was cover this with tea bags stamped with my new Tim Holtz stamp. The cover was way too shiny for me. This looks and feels better in person.

Colorwash!

Day three on my little painting. Really like it so far. My birthday present FINALLY came in. I had gone to that scrapbook store on the other side of town in March for colorwash. She was all out but offered to order it. Well after a long drawn out wait they came in but took the stamp another two weeks. Worth the wait. Love both and can't wait to play with them!
