The clematis were really beautiful this year.

Birthday haul

I'm so confused about trying to organize my pictures that I let a few hauls go by without posting! I found these pictures in the middle of everything so thought I would share. Really enjoying the archival inks in all the colors so bought a few of the Tim Holtz blenders. Then I found that bag of the gazillion flag stamps I had stashed and made one for each color. It made printing with my fish so fun and easy. I'm allergic to that ink so I have been using glove in the bottle lotion a couple times a day and tools instead of my hands! Even acrylic paint bothers me. The lotion has made a big difference in my hives. That's always a good thing. Then the Tuesday morning stencil city hauls. Love them.

body mapping?

Okay, I got sucked into the whole body mapping journaling on facebook with the 1500 other girls. It was fun, it was different. I only did the first exercise and then tried not to look at what other people did that were ahead of me. Yeah, I joined the group. Then. Yesterday. Found out that in order to be "certified" it would cost quite a bit. Not I'm not sure of the scientology of certified but did realize that the dianetics of the whole deal is a bunch of shit. I don't enjoy being sucked into what I thought was a fun group of like minded people under the guise of making some big bucks on the internet. Be upfront people.

 So I hit that shit with my new colorburst and really happy with the page!

 I also started trying to figure out how to cover my office chair with this blue leather. It is challenging, I had decided to just applique the leather to the cover I had made out of the striped ticking. Well, I trimmed the original and totally messed it up. I wish I could just use a staple gun but instead will have to make a slipcover like the one I ruined. Makes it so hard to figure out how to piece the leather.

Garden 2016

Finally found an old fashioned whisk broom for my gardening basket. It'll keep the pool cleaner.

When Bob sings about buckets of rain, I know what he means. I would say we got about 5 inches, wouldn't you?

 First colorburst experiment.

My gelli plate just did not want to work for me this weekend. I think it had something to do with using inks and maybe the fact that I washed them. Brought out the baby oil so hopefully it will accept the paint better tomorrow.

Meet the new girl, you can see who inspired her dreads Miss Chelsea Rose.  I love her fishnets and paint brushes for arms. She is an artist.

Color burst

I will be glad when I can get my art to look just like the overspray on my desk I love that! I think those colorburst are the coolest thing! So excited to play with them.
