French Club

Yet another clown. Will definitely have to paint this guy on a canvas.

Doctor notebook

Here are a couple shots of the notebook. It is written in two languages and full of medical potions! So love anything old and paper. I remember as a kid finding an attic in an abandoned farmhouse full of old letters. My cousin had to drag me out of there.

Help me out readers. What language is that? Looks like German to me.

flea market finds

Check out my goodies from a sale today. The black scarf is a mourning veil! Got a deal on all this stuff. Love the square nails and fish hook. Also got four fruit crates in excellent condition. The pens are dip pens.

Art storage

I rearranged my desk this week. Needing better storage for my pencils and pens. Made up a couple of cigar boxes of tags and tapes. I need to use this stuff instead of hoarding and organizing it!

I moved the shorter markers in the black cubbies and ended up leaving the pencils in the lazy susan. Not portable but like.

Blue Morpho

The elusive Blue Morpho. Me and a million others were in pursuit of this shot of the Blue Morpho. Thanks to my zoom lens I got the shot. Click on my flickr slideshow and see the rest of the butterfly pictures.

circus

Had fun using Paula's techniques to make a circus page with the graphic45 Le Cirque paper. I love this pack so much I am going to do another mini using it.

mandala kit

Here are the tools I use to make my mandalas. The brass ashtray is my largest circle. I start with it and then use the larger cd to find the center. Trace around the center and outside. I then put the small cd down for another row. After that I use the fiskers circle stencil and all the other little stencils. Fast and fun. Use a pitt pin indian ink fine for the outline, then color with water color pencils and inktense pencils. Background is water color crayons. I'm using my mixed media journal here.

metamorphosis

My moth is not showing up well in the photo but I love my new star gel pens. Thanks DeDe. I watched one of her streams and she talked about them. Added the perfect touch to my mini for my niece.
