flower mandala waxed

I really like this waxed.  Smells good too.

flower mandala

Did another flower mandala going to put beeswax on it.  Hopefully it'll pull it all together. Or it'll ruin it.  We will see.

Gel layer

Love my Stardust gelly roll pens.
Wrote my scrabble words on the page with them then did some coloring.  So fun.

Thanks

Glued my sheet of Inkadinkado flowers for background then used india ink and Inktense pencils to add color.  Fun page!

I am so excited to get my new stamping gear from Inkadinkado !

I like the elegant flourishes so much I ordered it twice.  Darn!

Spent hours stamping on one ply napkins using Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black.  The possibilities are endless.

The flower petals package was especially exciting to play with.

After priming my canvas with golden green gold acrylic paint I used golden matte medium to glue the napkin to the canvas.  I plan on using my pressed flowers to finish off the mandala.

I feel like this new tool will allow me to give structure to my flower mandalas I've been making.  I also have ideas about using it with fabric.

Moleskine

I had a great time trying to paint the fall leaves off my tree.  Well, let me take that back.  I repainted this page about twenty times and only the last time was fun.  I do like how it turned out even though mother nature out paints me everytime.

November Clematis

Took a shot of my clematis and California poppies blooming in November 2012.  What?

The blooms are smaller but so pretty.

We hung the sunflower heads on the fence for the birds this winter.  They have not been interested so far.

I tried to throw this cutesy (winnine the pooh) baby wipe box away because I use mine in my studio not on a baby.  All you art journal girls out there know what I mean.  Instead, I used random pictures of my original art and my grandson and made a collage.
This was a journal page and a couple pictures of Buster.

I used this snap shot to paint my coin clown project.
And finally Photoshop Lily.

New view

Buster won't sleep in his new bed unless his old bed is in here too.  He likes his old blankie.  I LOVE being out here with all my chimes and crystals I have been wrapping for the last five years.

This is Buster's new bed.  Much nicer, cotton velvet feather pillow with a custom blanket to match.  I looked down yesterday and he was all snuggled in.  I will give him both if he needs them.  He is 14 years old and has been through a whole lot of change in his life.  Just need to re arrange my art on the wall and I'll be set!
My new view is great even though the pool is closed.  I have California poppies blooming for some strange reason.
My belly dancer bells looks wonderful in here after my husband hung them for me. The brass looks really good with the silk and I like the way we did it in here much better.  Custom window valence.  Makes me so HAPPY!
