Altered bottle 2011

I'm not sure why I have to drag out everything before I can get inspired to do a couple of bottles. Actually this project started out what to do with my pretty jingle bells.

Zentangle 2011

At first I was like all zen but then I got tangled. This isn't very good but it sure was enjoyable. Rhipidate on flickr put tons of patterns online for free. Thanks! Pitt pen indian ink and moleskine.

Flea Market finds

The soap dish is supposed to be vintage but I'm not so sure. The tiny strainers are so cool! Does anyone out there know what they are used for? The stack of white is single ply tissue. So perfect for collage. Not pictured is a great small bug net for my pool. I hate using that giant pole.

My new china inspired this page.

I love this picture of my Mom, Grandma and aunt.
Buster had bedhead this morning.
John hung my paper behind my door yesterday. I wanted it in the hall but he insisted it stay in the studio. I really don't know what he is talking about. If it were up to me the house would be the studio.

Logan's tree

He did it all by himself. Love IT!

I made the quilt in 2002. It has really held up well. Thanks to tide stick it even survived a red pop incident. So glad my husband grabbed our blankets and pillows before the storm. I still miss the crazy quilt stocking I made around that time. I don't think I even have a picture of it.

When I was young I wanted to be an artist but did not have the self confidence to even try to paint. So. I spent probably ten years as a fiber artist. Even made temari's to sell one year for Christmas. My mother and her sister were talented seamstresses. I loved picking out the pattern and fabric then Mom would sew it beautifully. Her sister made all of my cousins skate costumes. I, on the other hand cannot make a garment worth wearing. But. I can make quilts, slipcovers, curtains and anything else I put my mind to.

Tiny haul Bo Bunny

Got this great Bo Bunny paper and a few pens today. Also a compass and ruler thingy for the free mandala class. Excited to try that. Oh and when I say tiny I don't mean cheap. 30 bucks right here. Dang.
